The Futago (foo-tar-go) has been designed for smaller wave summer fun, a medium rocker with single to double concave & a slight V off the tail make this twinny fast, loose & playful in 2-4 feet add a knubster fin & take her up to overhead. The wide forward outline allow this board to glide effortlessly. Those of you that have been following us for a while might remember the Sweet Spot, this is the evolution of that board.
 
The hip bumps work well with parallel outlines, allowing increased lateral speed, they drastically reduce surface area in the tail, allowing it to control and carry the speed into tight radius turns.  They create an extended rail, which rolls into the wave face easily, this helps engage and hold in turns. Placed near the rear foot, hip bumps add forgiveness, control, and ease of roll, to relatively wide, high volume, flat rocker boards.
 
8 oz deck & 4 oz slick keep the board light, agile & responsive.
A closed cell EPS version is also available.
Futures fin boxes only, they just have the best fin options for this style board.
 
If you are after a fun modern twinny that’s capable of head high & more then look at the pin tail version. The pin tail offers even more speed through its channel bottom, more release & hold, more suited to the twin plus one fin sets that have larger trailers.
